A new ranking of the pet-friendliest states in the United States sees Oregon claim the top position.
The ranking, prepared by independent security review site SafeWise using data from BringFido, Animal Legal Defense Fund, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and nOkill Network, assessed states by their pet-friendly legislation, shelters, veterinary services and the number of pet-friendly businesses and activities.
